What has happened to Andy Irons

Taking a break

Kelly got in his head. Andy is always on the verge of some sort of break down and Kelly is specialty is getting in his competitors heads. Just look back to the year that he told A l that he loved him just as they were paddling out for a heat.game over for Andy. A few years ago he snapped while on a surf trip to Tavarua and broke all of Bruce is boards. l do not think he will be back next year.

wow seriously? man thats kinda rough. l know Bruce quit the tour.. you think Andy will too?

Some say he is having health issues. l surfed with him in the begining of the summer in LA. l got surprised in seeing him there; there rumors were that he was going through rehab; that is why he was in town.

He is my favorite surfer; l do not really know waht is going on with him, but as soon as he get his act together he is a danger man. The only one that had power to take Slater is sleep away !!!

He got married recently and he bought a house. He is doing family stuff. So, it is not like it will be a long break. He is back with his boys, surfing and cruising.

And, it is the other way around; he is getting in Slater is head. Everyone think is he is going to break and his reign is over but he will be back before Slater knows it - ripping it up like always.
