Both r good fins. FCS & all the other big manufacturers sell fins that r scientifically designed & hydrodynamically suitable for different types of surf conditions, board designs & surfers. l would suggest that u talk to the folks at ur local surf shop, & see what they recommend. They know the local waves, & they can talk to u about ur skill level, & what u r riding, & make better suggestions than we can.Since l do not know anything about you, or where u surf, I'd be a fool to suggest one. Also, if u r asking that question on line, l doubt that u surf at a skill level where u will notice that much of a difference in ur ride. Go to the surf shop, & good luck

John F is on the money as usual but if you really want an answer the G5s are good all around fins. Not super performance oriented but they will work for most surfers in most conditions.

l have a few pairs of G5 is somewhere in my house lol. There pretty much standard to all basic beginner three fin setups. You can not go wrong with them and there fairly cheap. Most shops will let you demo fins so if you decide to get G5 is you can always compare them to another fin you demoed.
