I am getting a custom made longboard soon and need to know what the specs would be like in general, I've been surfing shortboards for 7 years and am growing to hate shortboarding... So what would be a good high performance longboards specs.I am in a small-wave area by the way 1-3ft. on average...

it depends on you. If you are lighter and like noseriding l would consider getting about a 9-10 foot board. anywhere from 2-4 inches thick would be good and 17-20 inches wide. Get the nose to have a sort of hollowed out feuture on the bottom that is good for noseriding. its like a big pressure ding on the front of your board.

it sepends on your size..they measure you like you are getting a suit made and take all this into affect when making your longboard. They make it wide depending on your shoulder width and you height weight and every thing else so hope you like the longboarding cuz l sure do!

I've had out in 2ft on up to 6-10 ft waves and love it. It even works good getting towed behind a boat
