lake ontario. lake erie. lake george has some good sights to see from the water but you cant rle go that fast unless theres a storm.

Whyalla in Sth Australia is perfect for it- there is just about always some wind and the water is not too deep if you fall off

In the ''Water Sports''section of Questions. While l can see that windsurfing can be fun (and the only game in town if you live by a lake, but not the ocean), it is not real popular with surfboard riders. Personally, with no waves to speak of, I'd rather sail a Hobie Cat.

l surf in Alacati/Cesme/Turkey.
It is one of the 3 best surfing areas in the world.
The wind is perfect for windsurfing.
