l really like supra.. although they are kinda of expensive($120 and up) they really are durable and they look cool.

l like emericas cause l skate they have amazing board feel and they're comfortable but nikes are amazing too but they're more expensive

Emerica is have been the best shoe I've ever had for skateboarding and I've tried damn near every brand. Vans comes in second and Lakai third. Vans are not 'poser' shoes..they are the first original skate shoe every company is trying to make shoes that look their Half Cabs

If you just want looks it all depends on what you like.

well l have alot of brands that are rlly good that l buy. emericas, dc's, adios, and etnies are all really good. but l own more pairs of emericas than any brand they have amazing board feel and all that. but if you wanna go buy style all the ones l listed have awesome looks and every thing. just remember VAN'S ARE POSER SHOES EVEN THE SLIP ON'S.

and emerica because they all feel soo good on the board and they have great grip so your back foot doesnt slip off when you do those huge gaps. that used to happen to me all the time when l wore some vans that my friend gave me for my b day. but vans are gay so never get them unless you are a poser

l think my favorite skate shoe(s) are: most of the Nike SB Dunks and almost every pair of Koston is that have come out. l have TONS of both--i was fortunate enough to get both types for dirt cheap when l worked at the surf shop.
..and for those that think Vans are for posers: l have a number of friends that are pro and pro/am, and unless they ride for a certain shoe company (and get shoes free)--the majority actually do wear Vans occasionally.

Well..Vans is 1st Emerica is 2nd and airwalk is pretty good 2.

By all means, go with Vans. l have been wearing them for over 30 yrs.
they are cheap and you usually wear skate shoes out pretty fast. The $ you save on shoes you can buy alot more decks and wheels.No doubt the hot ticket. My friend is could never believe how many skate boards l had but l made a pack with my mom at the time that if l bought Van is l could use the money l saved od high dollar shoe is to buy more skate stuff.
