Are there any places to surf in Naples (Italy)

The above link is about the only place l could find that has even remotely ride-able waves in Italy. This looks like it is well south of Napoli, but it also looks like a cool place. Like the article explains, u need wind across the water for long enough distances to create a swell/waves, & it just does not happen in the Med. It is probably worse than the Gulf of Mexico or the US Great Lakes, but where there is wind & water, sooner or later u can have waves.

l have been told that the eastern Med, Israel & Lebanon, has some spots that r ride-able. There r a fair number of surfers in Israel, & l knew guys stationed in Lebanon who surfed there.

Spain & France both have some great breaks, & surfing is fairly popular in both countries.
