what's THE perfect surfboard to go fast as hell on a wave? and why?

If you want to go super fast and that is all, go for anything with almost no rocker, and all flat planing surfaces. Twinnies and quad fish are perfect for this as they just fly due to the flat bottom.

A regular thruster is middle fin creates drag, and these boards are usually heavily rockered compared to twinnies and quads.

Basically, the flatter the board, the faster it will go. It is just harder to turn a board with minimal rocker.

A thick and wide fish. Perfect to cruise through the flat sections. They are just like longboards but more high performance. Now they are even making quad (4 fin) fishes.
