whats a better longboard made out of?

most of your better boards are made out of fiberglass

expoxy big time l have fiberglass and they are soooo sensative. l know from experience they get pressure dings and cracks all the time im not saying that expoxy doesnt get that cuz it does but DEFF not as much trust me

how much u want to spend ? epoxy boards usually cost more (unless fiberglass is custom shaped) & r much more durable & lighter than fiberglass. u can find used fiberglass longboards usually at yard sales ,cheap. fiberglass boards r usually a little heavier, depending on the type of glass on them ( 6oz or 10oz.) also, l find fiberglass easier to repair than epoxy. plus there nothing better than gettin an old school longboard dirt cheap, fixin it up & catchin some good waves with it. beats droppin 800 for a new one any day !

It is a matter of opinion. Fiberglass boards are heavier, but more sensitive. You can feel the response. Epoxy boards are lighter and more buoyant and may feel a bit awkward to the surfer. Not all epoxy boards are machine made. Some builders still make them by hand. Epoxy is stronger, but not indestructible. My opinion: hand made fiberglass. l like fiber glass because it has just a better feel to it and it has a stringer. epoxys are hard to wax and just dont feel right
