it depends on how big you are compared to the board. but 6 8 isnt a very big funboard and since its a tri fin you should easily be able to do cutbacks and snaps, l have a 7' 10 funboard and can do cutbacks pretty easy on it but im 6 2 and 180 lbs.

l do not know how much you weigh, or anything about your break, but if you have your heart set on NSP, the fish would be a better choice for cutbacks, speed, and ripping, while helping you transition to a shorter board.

Looks like the 6'6 is wide and bouyant enough too.

There r lots of hybrids that give u more buoyancy & more maneuverability & that r far better than these. Unfortunately, NSP, has limited designs & NO variations from their machine stamped norm, because NSP boards r Chinese factory made popouts.
There have to be thousands of surf shops in Australia & hundreds of good local shapers, who routinely crank out good quality hybrid boards that r more suitable to the break(s) that u ride, & ur skill level. If u r already riding something better, & u r looking to move on to a short(er) board, look for quality, not a piece of junk like an NSP. They r GREAT for beginners, or for rental boards, but that is as far as it goes.
If u r dead set on NSP, then l have to agree with Surfammo, that the fish is a far better choice than the ones u seleceted.
Go to a good local surf shop & talk to the folks there about getting a real surfboard.

Without even looking at the board the answer is no. Funboards are a compromise board between a short and long board. They lack the maneuverability of the short board and the glide of the long board. What you are left with is a board that makes it easy to catch waves but hard to do anything on.
Did not you ask about the Bic too? Quit shopping online for popout surfboards. Get off your a$$ and go to a surf shop.

yes, well a shorter kind of fun board like a 7'2 or around there. if you want a nice fun board you should get a southpoint or an NSP. great boards for doing anything.
