If u r ten years old, & u answer questions on line, do not u suppose other ten year olds must also answer questions? That means u r going to take advice from a ten year old! Go to a surf shop, where experienced surfers can discuss good sticks & what works in Queensland, that might not work worth a darn in New Jersey! Get ur advise from people in the surf industry, not other kids on line. If u r a really committed ten year old surfer, who really wants to excel in the art, LOTS of people will be willing to help you.
