I am going to be stationed in Guam for 2 years and I've always wanted to learn how to surf. Is there much surfing there? Are there any ''surf schools'' or whatever? Thanks

Guam has a very solid surfing scene.

Yeah, there is surf on Guam, & the Agana boat basin got some play on ''You Tube''. It is not the best spot, but if u have to spend two years there, u can make the most of it. l have not been there since the early '70s, so l can not vouch for any surf schools there, so I'd do all my ''learning'' on the mainland before u ship out. In my day, 13 months in Vietnam was better than 24 months in Guam. l guess it has improved somewhat, but.. Good luck, & have fun in the surf, u sure wo not have it anywhere else there.
