does any one no of any good surf competiotions or surf camps coming twards the north east coast any time soon? if you do let me know...thanx!

Assuming you mean northeast U.S., let me recommend that you stop in a local surf shop. A real surf shop, not a bathing suit store that sells some surfboards. There are surfers who work there who will help you find out more about competitions, training, camps etc. You can always look on line, but go to a surf shop. That should be your source of good surf information.

Well you just missed the ESA regionals. Go to surfesa.org (eastern surfing association). There is a ton of comps up and down Long Island and Jersey, a lot of them ESA comps. But there are others, the Unsound Pro is in early Sept. If you're looking to compete, ESA comps are mostly it, a few other little ones but nothing much. If you're looking to watch a good comp, its gonna be a while.
