Hi there. l just started surfing a couple of weeks ago and l would like to invest in my first board. I am looking for a store in Melbourne that maybe sells cheap second equipment for beginners?

Try contacting some of the surf clubs. They may know where you can get a good secondhand hand one. Or if any af they're members are looking to sell. Also try the trading post.

oh im from melbourne to lolz umm l get my boards off ebay, they are so much cheapier. brand new ones are just too expensive. if you have just started l suggest you get about a 7-9 foot soft board and gradually go down to a 5-6 foot hardboard. wen you get a hardboard the you will be able to get a more expensive board but as your learning you olny need to get a cheap one coz you will soon grow outta it lol

Try looking on ebay. Thay have heaps of second hand boards. But if you are a begginer then make sure your first board is not too small. Its alot easier to surf on a bigger board. hope this helps
