l have been looking for the biggest waves to Surf in the word and seeing if you can spot them on google earth, Teahupoo looks huge. But l found this off Namibia which looks bigger:

That is an awesome feature! I've used Google maps before but never checked out waves.

You have to realize that there is no guarantee that any particular break is actually firing when the image was taken. I've looked at some well known surf spots on Google Earth that show up flat in the image. It is an great tool though, found some potentially awesome spots in the Cape Verde Islands on it.

REMEMBER, it is not a live image. It is a picture. They are updated but not super often.

Check out all the places where you know there can be big surf, and see what you can come up with.
Todos Santos, Hawaii, Margaret River, The Pacific Islands, Bali, Mavericks and anywhere else that comes to mund and you might get lucky.
