if it snapped in half, l would just get a new board cause its probably going cost you as much as a new board was. Just tell ur buddy to find a nice used board.

If it snapped in half, it will never ride the same. The board just wo not feel right, and may as well not be a board anymore. It could actually do more harm than good to ride a split board. And fixing it costs a lot more than other repairs. he may want to apply what it costs to fix the board to getting a new board.
