As per the 'best' surfing places in Asia: Bali, Indonesia & Phuket, Thailand. Both r known for their big waves & beautiful beaches. l personally would choose Bali over Phuket as the cost of living is cheaper there & the waves r bigger & better. The best surfing season in Bali is from September till end of November. One thing to keep in mind is that; if u play a hard bargain, the price WILL go down. Do not get suckered into paying more than u need to. Also, avoid paying coolies & hawkers, the more u flash money around, the more of it u will lose. Happy surfing.
