l want some music that most surfers listen 2, or just music that would be good say on a surfing tv show. Something like that fun rock. If anybody knows any artists that most surfers listen 2 or any songs that would be great. No oldies please. thanks.

Surf music spans many genres. You can go acoustic with Jack Johnson, Timmy Curran (free CD downloadable from hurley.com), G Love, etc. Or go reggae with Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, etc. Or you could go more heavy with someone like ASG or some of the other Volcom bands.

Dick Dale. Ramones. Jack johnson. l have only said these 3 as they are or were in there day surf music, all completly different. From Totally different eras.
Jan and Dean is really old but its good listen to,Ahh the words.

Surf culture music? Come on we listen to everything just like everyone else but prefer something more laid back. Only reson everyone considers Jack Johnson Surf Music is becuase he was a pro surfer. Unlike years ago with Jan & Dean, The beach boys and such there really isnt Beach Music. Sorry no such Genre... Listen to what feels good to you do not be a KOOK... Listen to local band with originals you will find some good stuff out there.

There are as many different taste is in music among surfers as an other group of people. '' Surfer Music'' is a sales pitch to appeal to morons who want to be seen to be ''cool''. If you like a certain type of music listen to it for what it is.

hahaha that is like asking what do tennis or soccer players listen to? ( no offense to those sports just trying to make a connection) Just because people are surfers does not mean that we like ''surfer music'' just listen to what you like.
