I want to learn to surf really well, so in order to do this should i move to hawaii or california? why?

You could save your moving expenses and just learn to surf at home.

Ive lived and surfed both and l would say take a long trip to Australia, endless beaches and waves to choose from. Hawaii can be treach-a-rous, and Cali knda sady.

Cali, the locals only attitude in H l can be a killer.

HAWAII, california is great for family life but the waves are what l call'' Shore crashers'' The waves come up high them BOOM hit the shore leaving you tumbling!

When l went surfing in maui, hawaii it was awesome just make sure you surf early in the A.M. because it is beautiful and very crowded!

If you live in England l suggest you just move to cornwall otherwise yeh move to one of those places.

going back to cali strictly for the weather women and the w&&d.hawaii has some nice breaks but cali is more of an intermediate place to learn to surf better! no matter what your choice they are both nice place to be.

you dont have to move. good god like california needs more people, and hawaii too. if you are going to move somewhere dont just move because of surf..we get lots of haoles moving here becasue of surf, what you goin do try and get one job? It is hard enough for locals to get jobs here, which will make it impossible for some haole to get one job here. sorry but just practice a lot at HOME.

it depends wher eu live, u can move to the east, of u can move to cali, it is cheaper than hawii and the east is a lot cheaper than cali

They both have great waves but if you're just learning it does not really matter.

well l think u should practice at home and then when u get good u could move to somewhere like cali or hawaii cause it could get rough there if ur just learning
