l live in SoCal, so the water is pretty warm, and l usually just wear my springsuit out surfing... I am not really in need of much more warmth than that. Anyway, l have a really horrible spring suit tan on my legs from surfing every day (l know, not a big deal to guys... but as a girl, it is not exactly attractive to have a giant tan line across your legs)... and it is gotten pretty bad.
Which brings me to my question... l was at a contest a few weeks back, and noticed that some of the girls in my heat had these sick wetsuits... they were long arm, no leg... bikini cut on the bottom, and that would really solve my severe tan line problem. l meant to ask them what the wetsuits were called, but it slipped my mind...
so, does anybody know what these long arm bikini-cut on the bottom wetsuits are called, and where l could find them (l checked my local surf shops, but have not had much luck.)
I've lived in California nearly fifteen years, and have been surfing in the winter for almost ten. l know it sounds bizarre, but l just do not get that cold. I've worn spring suits all year round here, and never had a problem.

l guess you should have asked the girls wearing them. l suppose you could check on line, too. But if you can not find them in your local surf shops, hit a dive shop or two. Some dive shops carry a different variety of wetsuits and might have some catalogues with a better selection.

l hit up every surfing wet suit brand l can think of and the closest l could find was the ONeill suit linked below. The bikini cut sounds more like a dive style suit, so maybe dig around some diving suppliers websites.

How long have you been surfing? or how long have you lived in southern california? cause in the winter here the water gets freezing and no springsuit will keep you warm. if your gonna buy a wet suit l would buy a regular wetsuit because the waters already cold and its only gonna get colder.

l see some of those in my surf shop. sweet water surf shop. just check in different surf shops because they are in mine and just ask the girls that had them on next time you see someone wearing one
