I am working rather hard at this but I am trying to improve. l got this number for a guy named John but I am not sure, l need some place that l can call for next summer.

Maybe a long shot, but is his name John Angelo? Did he have really long hair? What was the number u got? l have a friend by that name which gives surf lessons in MTK & Babylon.anyway.

Which part of Long Island ( l am from Montauk)? Out here, there is Main Beach Surf & Sport (mainbeach.com) which gives good lessons & l give lessons for them in the summer, or Air & Speed, which is decent. Farther up the island, just walk into any local shop & ask if they give lessons, most of them do. Try Unsound Surf shop in Long Beach or Religion Surf Shop in Shirley.

Honey do not surf in the sound. Might as well be off the jersey shore. Gross. Haha did you happen to notice a lot of jellyfish this summer? It was ridiculous. But anyway, you should put that on the back burner until you can get out to Cali. Or I've been to Oahu and it is just gorgeous out there. In the summer go surfing in Miami, and must be nice for surf lessons.

if u want to improve ur surfing, no matter what level u r at right now, u have got to check out elliot zuckerman in long beach - he is very experienced & has a way of making u improve beyond what u ever thought u could, even in a single session. he also has a number of instructors that work under him who r also pretty good. & if u do not want to wait until next season, he runs surf tours out of his house in puerto rico during the winter that r absolutely kick ass.

Do yourself a favor, & pay attention to Chris K. he is a local L l surfer, & most of his on YA seem pretty sensible. l do not know where the other folks who answered u come from, but they sure do not seem to know too much about surfing. l have been surfing for 42 years (Including years & years of surfing decent waves in New Jersey Howie) & almost any Florida surfer will tell u that there is rarely any surf in Miami Antonio.
