last week my son won a surfing contest and the medal he got was of saint christopher, and on the back was a man longboarding, l was just wondering what the connection was between winning a surfing contest and one of the patron saints, l know he is the patron of safe travels, but is there anything else that he protects?

St. Christopher is also the patron saint of watermen.
