hurley is my fav. most surf brands cut their shirts either too big (billabong/local motion)or too skinny for me (volcom/ezekiel). hurley sorta fits best for people in the 'medium' category

Hobie overall, but it depends on what you're looking for? O'neil suits, Gordy boards etc.

well depends on what your gonna buy. if your planning to buy a surfboard an al- Merrick is said to be very good... but for clothes volcom is definitely one of the best surf-brands and my favorite :-)

If you're talking about clothes, then they're all crap. Do not get the idea that l am one of those people that go ''oNLy KOOKS whEre sURf cLothES! l just think that people who buy $70 shirts that r the same quality as a cheap $10 Target ones r just plain stupid. The surf industry is taking the piss out of the public & winning!


Wetsuits, l reckon RipCurl r ahead in every direction. l recently bought an E-Bomb & it is the best wetsuit I've ever had. People always complain about their durability, but it still beats Quiksilvers & Billabongs wetsuits by miles. O'neill is close behind RipCurl, just depends on ur taste.

Surfboards r completely personal, but Firewire r probably the best brand out there at the moment. You can debate all u want but Firewire r further ahead in their technology & perfomance than all of the PU surfboards in the world. You might think the $900 (Au) price tag is pretty steep, but most people l know that r lucky enough to have one certainly do not regret it.


l could go on forever about what l think the best surf brand is for every kind of accessory u can think of, but l will stop myself! Besides clothes, most surfbrands out there r pretty reliable & u wo not be upset with any of ur purchases. Just research the hell out of something you're interested in then buy it!

the more money you spend and the cooler it makes you look, the better the brand.
