''Bored'' shorts need to be used in fun activities, like surfing. Board shorts can be found at any surf shop and even cheap ones at department stores (but surf brands are all the rage, but they also are liner-less, which is good because liners chaff you horribly.)

My shorts are never 'bored', l am usually wearing them while riding my surf 'board'.

You can get them in nearly every surf shop, there are heaps of different lengths, styles and colours.
or you can get them at big w, target, kmart and any of those types of stores.
a lot of shops have them in pretty much any size.
