My birthday is coming up soon and l wanna ask for surfer stuff this year! Does anybody know any good books or movies about surfers or surfing?

l cant help but ask if you're gonna use these movies/books for ur poser purposes, or if you're really interested in surfing.

Yeah the movies that the Surfboard Man said r classics, but there r a ton of surf flicks if u look em up. Riding Giants is a cool documentary, My Eyes Wont Dry is a cool film about riding the tube (tube vision!), there is really too many to pick.

You can find surfing books at Barnes & Noble (but they're TERRIBLY overpriced), a nice coffee-table book like Surfboards, or The Surfboard. l do not tend to buy surfing books because they're expensive as crap, but l did recently order Surfing: The Manual Advanced from Amazon, & l am so stoked for it to come in the mail!

All the surf videos that you named l count as Hollywood BS one good one is history of big wave riding endless summer 1 and 2 are good movies also

it just all about surfing pretty much, there r 7 different books.

Riding Giants, Stranger then Fiction. Go & look for surf dvds, where u will see all the best surfers in 3-5 minutes sections ripping it up. l mean there r surf movies with plots & surf movies where u just see people surfing. Do not pay attention to these poser people, if thats what ur into, be into it. My bro doesnt surf but loves the style of surf clothes as well as other styles having lived in London. Hes not a poser because he does not claim to surf, he is just wearing the clothes that these people happen to make to supplement their income. That & l think it reminds him of when he lived in Florida. You probly get what im saying.

Here it is. Noah is arc. Its a documentary following the story of Noah Snyder, an amazingly talented surfer.its about him totally changing his life around and becoming a Christian.and now he has a surf show series about his missions around the world. Its a really great story.
