There are so many brands out there, so it is hard to know which one is the best. I am mainly looking for warm and cheap, but easy entry and a key pocket would be nice too. This is for a women is wetsuit by the way and l live in socal, so it does not need to be too heavy duty.

Just head over to the surf shop and check out the selection they have in stock, You probably want a 3/2 which is 3mm thick on the torso and 2 mm thick on the arms and legs. Best thing to do is to go in person and see if you can try some one. l got mine in florida and l tried four different suit before l ended up with my oneil which fits me perfect. Even though the sizes may be the same some just fit better and some dont. Good Luck

Aleeda wetsuits has a large warehouse sale every year that is coming up. l have picked up suits there for $80 sometimes. If you go to their websites they will tell you when the sale is.

Go to a good local shop (or two). Comparison shop, and find the suit that fits you best fir the right money. Every manufacturers sizes vary, ever so slightly, so you want to make sure you try them on. The folks in the shop can guide you into what is the right thickness for the temperatures where you surf far better than we can out here in cyberspace. l have been surfing for 42 years, and l tale all of my surfboard and wet suit questions to good local shops where l surf.

well personally, l love the oneill mutant wetsuit. it is my favorite. l think it is the best. you should go to a surf shop to get the right size and thickness, but there are some wetsuits that other people like.

The wetsuit picks the surfer. No! What you need to do is get to a store early in the season for discounts. l Know ho you probably have an alliance to a certain brand, but you need to let that go and pick the warmest and the best fitting. It will probably end up being a Billabong or an O'Neil.

Oneil wetsuits have always worked well for me. The psycho2 and mutant both have key pockets, and are both pretty easy to get in and out of. to be honest, the quality of women wetsuits are never as good as mens for some reason, so l just bought a guys oneil wetsuit.. and it fits fine. They are a little pricey, but well worth the warmth. If you're a wimp like me l would get the 4/3 thickness..the water in socal is getting colder !
