the books ''for dummies'' are good. Which? also do a good book that i've seen on the telly and l think its free.

There is a book called 'Everything you ever wanted to do with your computer' which covers all the bases pretty comprehensively, and should help. Other than that use a search engine to search for what you are interested in, and practice. The computer is easy to use - it is designed that way !
