l wanna get into surfing but l dont know anything about it other then how to do it.l am looking for a good place to learn how to surf.How many feet is good sized wave for me?Just to let you know, l do a lot of skateboarding, snowboarding, and l pick up pretty fast.I've been looking at surfline.com but l cant really understand any of it :(Plus l dont really know what to look for.And are there any good beaches to surf in Southern California?Near santa monica?

paddle out when u see what looks like a nice wave coming start paddling towards tha shore at a good speed when the the wave is close stand up. stay in the middle of the board to keep you balance. hope this helps!
