would like to know how to make a surf machine

There r currently 3 slightly different technologies used to create artificial ''moving'' waves that have been built & r operational in the world & 2 that have only been modeled.

There is also a technique for creating a standing wave that does not move & is often available at water parks. The Swatch Wave Tour is an international competition that features a serious standing wave created by a portable system that moves with the tour.

The primary way wave machines work is to use pumps & bellows to direct water through channels in the pool walls & bottom arranged to create a breaking wave effect similar ot a point break. The less expensive to operate designs attempt to re-use the momentum of the water in motion while the more traditional approaches simply pump water into a storage container & then simply flush the water through & over the channels.

Besides Typhoon Lagoon in Florida there is a wave pool in Japan that is very close to the ocean & extremely popular plus features a sand beach. There r also a number of companies starting to appear that r building wave pools all over the world. Murphy is Waves claim their design creates the largest surfable wave available.
