The gold coast or the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Both have the best beaches in the world and both have produced some of the best surfers ever. But which has the better beaches of the two? Also name your favorite break on the gold coast or the north shore.
l did not have the opportunity to surf the gold coast YET. But l get to hear all the stories of all the great secret spots on the gold coast. The North shore is amazing all the way from Ali'i Beach to Turtle Bay. Got Sunset, Chuns Reef, Haleiwa, Pipe, Off the Wall, Tammy Land, Leftovers, and many more. l say the North Shore has the better beaches but only because l have been to every beach on the north shore. l stayed mostly to the westside breaks like Makaha beach and Yokohama. My fav break on the North Shore has to be Leftovers but most people hate it because of the constant paddling because of the dreadful current that keeps pushing you right.

Do not know much about the Gold Coast, but l do know the North Shore is da kine!!!

their both insanely good on the right day. . im born and raised in san diego california. i've surfed many of the spots on the Gold coast. real similar to so cal. hawaii = l have wet dreams about hawaii, l love the tropics. there is a diverse range of climates to choose from in AU. if that makes it better its better. if not its not. philosical. not quite. go get wet.
