The wax is showing up white on the black fabric of my wetsuit on the chest area from laying on my board.

Ice and water, soak for awhile then scrap it off.

Leave it on there. Not having any wax on your wetsuit would make it look like you'd never been surfing in cold weather before. Kid, are you a surfer or a model! TeeHee, just kiddin'. :)

leave it out in the sun and the wax will melt and it will be easy to take off

Bury it under about a quarter inch of sand in direct sunlight. Give it about 30 mins to an hour. If you dig under the sand with your hands and peel it off from one corner to the other, it should come right off with the sand in one piece. Works for surfboards too. Let the sun and sand do the work for you.

If you soak the spot with icewater and every now and the rub an ice cube over it , the wax will harden and you can scrape it off WAY EASIER than the whole ''melting'' idea
