one that is long . . . but not one of those WAY long ones cuz thats too big. Good Luck!

Definitely go for a longer board, but nothing too big that you wo not be able to handle. l would start out with a fun shape between 6'5'' and 8'. The bigger the board the easier it will be to balance and catch the smaller waves that you will want to catch at first!

You should start out with a fun shape board around 7 feet or so. This type of board will be easy to catch smaller waves which is what you should be concentrating on if you are a just starting. The shape of the board will make it easy for you to keep your balance and it will maintain an easy level of speed.
