mine was when l was 12, l was surfing kinda diagonally to the shore. and there were a couple of ppl and they were on my way so l decided to turn a diffrent direction ,like a cutback (stupid me). and l lost balance which made me put more weight on the tail. so the board like faced up and it hit my chest and stomach. and l limped back to the shore. and a day later it was all fukc'd up and bruised. ugh

l drowned

Skag cut between the toes through the foot that stopped in the middle was in the hospital for 2 days

mine was kind of a karma thing. l called in sick to work because we actually had decent waves.. well the water was choppy (not as decent as we thought it would be) anyways l ate it, board popped up and hit me in the head. great going to work the next day after calling in sick and try to explain how the bump on my head got there.

put too much pressure on the tail, fell and broke my arm on a reef rock

Shredded my foot up on my fin

l broke both my legs and got 327 stiches in my legs and got my toe riped off

l dont have one because im not that good yet to have a serious injury but my uncle was surfing & he was bit on the muscle by his thumb by a shark. he was gushing blood & he had to swim all the way to shore (the beach was deserted & he was the only one there besides two of his friends). the car was parked two miles away & they had to run to the car. he was bleeding so bad when they got to the car that he passed out. hes alive now, nas his thumb & is completly heeld (you cant even see the scar)

l have not really suffered any injurys while surfing expect the time the wave closed out on me and the board hit my nose nothing bad.. no blood.. but my surf coach is blind out of his left eye from a surf injury, dont know how

l took off on this twisted peak, tried to make the drop but l ended up going over the falls and lying flat on the reef. The wave and my board dragged me a good 20 feet across the reef. When l came up my back was hamburger meat. l had to paddle in quickly, that beach has a lot of sharks.
