where can l find surfing lessons in texas? l have very little experience surfing and l wanna learn at least how to stand on the board.

Look in your local phonebook or search Google for your nearest surf shop or a surf camp. Shops can teach you in 1 day for about $150. A camp is more expensive and will take only 2 days usually.
If you do not live near the water, and can not go on a regular basis, it is not worth your time to learn.
