O.K. 2pink, You ready? First & foremost, the only person who answered ur ? with ANY kind of knowledge was that skimboarder, B-tek. The other two were friggin' coconuts, & have absolutely NO right to be giving u or anybody else ''advice''. So to add to B-Tek is answer, u need to go out & simply try on a couple of suits. Just like u would a pair shoes or something. The associates at a surf shop will be able to give u some real good pointers & advice, so listen to them. 1) Comfort. An ABSOLUTE nessecity. You want ur suit to fit just right. You want as little 'excess material'. Limit extra folds or flaps anywhere. If u happen to be in between sizes, go with the bigger one, to limit the chance of tear at the seams. Holes in wetsuits r bad! It seems that u r a female, so obviously purchace a female suit. 2) With wetsuits, u pretty much get what u pay for. So, do not be afraid to spend a little $. Remember.COMFORT IS KEY! 3) l was born & raised in downtown Huntington beach, Ca. & have been surfing 20 years. l just turned 33 last month & l am still partial to Rip Curl suits. l make the trip down the 5 Freeway exit Christianos & go left over the freeway. Make a left at the first stop sign. About a mile down on the left is the Rip Curl factory or outlet store. I've been scoring real good suits & other gear there for years. You can get just what you're looking for there new, & at or around $150-$250. Good luck! If u have anymore ?'s, my name is Ryan & u can reach me at: mesaychahotmail.com. Mahalo wahine!
