10-12 foot in Rincon, the danger was from other surfers (thugs)

To the guy who answered first.
Really, 30 ft?
In Hawaii?
Who r u trying to impress here?
Can u tell me where in Hawaii?
What beach, or break?
Can u tell me what time of the year this was?
l can tell u there is only one time of the year the waves get that big, & it is not every year u get waves like that. And not every beach pumps like that, & when it gets that big there r only a couple of breaks that r rideable. Oh by the way, when it does get that big, they do not just let ANYONE get in the water. So, where did u surf this 30 ft waves?

6-8 ft Ulu is it was pounding. The biggest challenge was to make sure that you do not get caught on the inside as you will get dragged along the reef!! Learn to duck dive deeper and deeper. This my friend is the only trick!

Laird Hamilton has got you all beat, last year, he surfed the world biggest wave at over 100 feet at Jaws in Hawaii. Top that.

l would have to say 13-14ft wave on Tamarindo Beach, Costa Rica. There was a swell that day & man it was good. The biggest waves l have ever seen on Tam too. The main chalange was making the drop. It was a freaking steep wave too! l made a hard hand on rail bottom turn to the right & bairly made it. l looked up & saw all this water over my head it was amazing. It was not long, but it was fun. l even got barreled a little too. That was the best ride of my life, aside from full moon surfing but that is different.

16 ft. outside Waikoko is in Hanalei bay. The main challenge was staing on my board (lol). The biggest danger was hitting the reef if l wiped out (which l did eventually). l loved it.
