If you can do that after only 4 months l would say you are full on rockin'.

It really depends on each person is ability. l honestly do not remember how long it took me to learn anything as l am inconsistent with how often l surf. As a kid, l did it almost everyday. Now, l can not thanks to 9-5 work. And I've been surfing since l can remember.

Realistically, no one can learn a trick like that in only four months of surfing. You'd be lucky enough to learn how to link turns at that early beginning stage of surfing. It truly depends on ur understanding of where you're surfing, how ur body works in any move, & what ur board is capable of.

Learn to read what a wave is doing. learn what ur board feels like under ur feet.

If u can learn to do this trick after only four months of surfing, u should go pro. Honestly, no one does that in four months going from never even touching a surfboard to learning how to catch a wave & turn on it.
