FREE BALLIN...When wearing a wetsuit are you supposed to wear anything under the suit or just Rip it Commando

l always wear board shorts under. If not a get a rash! haha

l go commando. Just one less thing to wash. One time l wore a thong as a joke. l found board shorts bunch up in my groinal area underneath my wetsuit. Which is very uncomfortable.

l go commando most of the time. If l am at a contest or somewhere else where l will be in and out of the water several times during the day l will wear board shorts under it.

if its cold im not goin commando im wearin two wetsuits if its moderate than ill go commando depending on how im fealing.

Almost no reason to wear anything under a wet-suit, except maybe a rash guard, especially if you're just starting out. You will look like you're wearing a diaper if u have boardshorts underneath. Plus boardshorts bunching up in a wetsuit ai not comfy.

Commando is the way to go. If it is super-cold, then u should get a thicker wetsuit, and/or booties & gloves. You can not wear two wetsuits at one time. That is like wearing two condoms at a time. It will only damage the other, & hurt you.

Besides a rash guard, only women have to wear at least a bikini top in a wetsuit. Anything else reeks of ''kook''. You ''might'' be able to get away with wearing something like Under Armor style shorts underneath to prevent rash, but if u get a high quality wet suit, u usually do not have to worry about that.

If l have privacy to change eg a tent, boat, or rv l generally wear nothing under a good 'suit, but having speedos or tight whities on (or handy) has saved me from many potentially embarrassing situations. YMMV.

Mate, no buddy wears anything under their suit. only kooks would tell you otherwise.

I've NEVER read or heard of a more stupid answer from a dumber individual then the moron who calls himself, ''DaSurfMan''. Nobody, l mean NOBODY wears TWO wetsuits. Anyone who REMOTELY has a clue about what they're doing in the water (surfing wise), is clowning that guy. Trust me, ''DaSurfMan'' would not know what a damn thruster was if someone put one in his hands. The answer after that barney is is absolutely dead on correct. I've been surfing for 22 years, & can not remember the last time l wore ANYTHING underneath my suit. If u get ball/groin rash, simply apply Vasoline to the affected area. Every surfer carries a small jar of Vasoline along with wax, fin keys, spare leashes, leash plug ties, quick fix ding repair kit, small first aid kit, more wax, wax comb/stripper, sunscreen, extra set of skegs, in their accessories tub.

You have to go commando. Because your boxers get all scrunched up and it does not feel so good when they're up in a wad inside the wetsuit.

well as its getting colder in the south west of england ive started keeping my calvin is on(boxers)if they ride up when u put ur wetsuit on then just pull them down abit before u put ur arms in the top part.i have a winter suit but its still quite chilly.an of course l use the flawless old surfers trick dont tell too many people but l also pee when its too cold in the suit it warms it up a treat!also u could get a thermo vest they arnt to pricey about £15-£50 then gloves & boots id suggest going for the spit toe style as there easier to use & u can feel the board under ur feet better usually

that guy who says he wears two wet suits well l guess he doesnt actually surf because if he did then he would realise how hard it is to paddle with just one let alone two wetsuits on plus it would streatch the second suit & render it useless

My boyfriend goes commando & l wear a bikini top but nothing on the bottom cause l would not want my bikini bottoms pinching my hip & ruining the view for my boyfriend.

All u need is a bath towel to change, Ive done it on the side of PCH before with nothing under my wetsuit.just practice at ur house once or twice in front of a mirror if u want to figure out what to do, my boyfriend taught me the trick of getting it on ur ankles & the grabbing the top of the legs & tugging up in one quick move & getting it on right quick.
