go to your local surf spot and check it out watch other surfers surf, watch them closely popping up, then take your board on the inside and catch the white wash...and dont listen to that stupid girl..you can still live on a mountain and surf. lol

its really simple when u r dedicated. All u need to do is get a thick board not too long maybe 6'4 & about 3 inches thick thats 22 inches wide. Or if ur a bad balancer than get a longboard. Now when u get either of ur boards tart out in the white water. The white water is the break of the wave. Now when u begin to get near the white water paddle as hard as u can. Than when the whitewater is right behind u (about 2 feet) put ur hands on the rails & push yourself up slowly, release ur hands from the rails & ur surfing.
